I was actually dreading shopping for a wedding dress because I had heard such horror stories from friends that shopped at high-end boutiques on Oak Street that the women that worked there were rude and snobby in addition to turning their noses up at you if you stated you had a budget of under $3,000.-4,000 I found White Chicago on the internet and it was the first place I wend looking for dresses. I was blown away!!!! First of all, the space is beautiful, clean, modern and spacious. Stacey held me throughout the process and she couldn't have been more kind, patient and professional. White Chicago take impeccable care of their dresses - wearing white gloves, having you step into the gowns so make-up doesn't transfer, hanging the gowns up immediately and putting in the garment bags after being tried on, as to preserve the gowns. I didn't have "the gown" in mind....but I did know what I didn't want. I was able to look through their entire collection of dress to choose options. I tried on styles all across the board to see what look good on my body. It was a wonderful experience. My budget was $2,000-2,500 and I found many, many beautiful dresses at this price range. My friends that got married 8-12 years ago can't believe a store like this exists!!! Nothing like this was around when they got married. Thank you White Chicago!! You provide such a necessary service. Weddings are special and you really make the brides feel that way too. Beautiful dresses, in excellent condition, and very fair prices!!

I recently consigned my wedding gown at White Chicago. Ursula, one of the owners, was wonderful to work with. She was so personable and professional, explaining the process clearly and answering all of my questions. The shop itself is beautiful and immaculate, with excellent care given to all their gowns. Now, one month later, they already sold my wedding dress! My check is on the way, my closet space has increased, and another bride gets to enjoy the gown.

I looked for dresses here and was very impressed with the level of service. Although I did not buy my dress at White Chicago, I did return for my alterations with Carol, the seamstress on site. The alterations were more expensive than I had anticipated, but she did a terrific job on the alterations. I would recommend looking for a dress here (Lucy is very friendly and helpful) and using Carol for alterations.

Okay, love your place! Love it, love it, love it! Love the fact that it's all white, the place smells so fricken good and Kyra was so wonderful. She was so funny, and made me feel so comfortable with everything. Let's just say that at the end, I was so exhausted! Who knew that trying on dresses was a mini workout! But, I loved the dresses, I really did. My friend took pictures of our favorites, and there's probably two or three that I would totally wear.
…But seriously, Kyra was so awesome, she was so nice to my family that came and she helped me out tremendously. I wish you were there, but she was a great substitute!
