My review is from the consignment perspective. I have actually never stepped foot into the store but sent White Chicago my wedding dress to sell last year. A friend of mine who bought her used Monique Lhuillier dress there recommended the option to me after I had trouble selling my dress on eBay, Craigslist, and other online alternatives. White Chicago is able to provide something I couldn't for prospective buyers - an opportunity to try on the dress in a professional, reputable environment with knowledgeable owners. I appreciate how White Chicago runs its business. For example, the store requires an original receipt to ensure the authenticity of used dresses. This review ends with good news. My dress was recently sold! It's actually rewarding to know that someone else out there also loves your dress! =)

My sister is getting married next year and I went to White Chicago to check it out for her.  White Chicago is a resale bridal boutique that has a very upscale feel to it.  Most of the dresses have been worn before but are in top notch condition.  Some of the dresses have never been worn and are samples, and they are all very pretty.  They carry all kinds of designers, I saw some Monique Lhuillier, Vera Wang, Badgley Mischka, etc, and the prices range from $900- $6000, which is a great option if you are looking for a designer gown without that nasty price tag.  The problem is, and this isn't that big of a problem since it's a given, is that if you are a tall girl it'll be more difficult to find a dress that'll fit well right off the start, since if you are 5'7 and a size 2-4, most of the size 2 and 4 dresses were altered for 5'3 or 5'4 girls, so just be aware of that if you are on the taller side or plan on wearing very high heels.  But overall, I think it's a beautiful boutique and the owners couldn't be nicer!

You have to go - great new bridal store - a consignment designer shop but really nice -service and selection (Vera Wangs, Larzaros, etc.) awesome plus the space is really cool. Found my dream dress there!!

Everything about this shop was impeccable.  The entire space is white and pristine; they even ask you to remove your shoes before you go in.  (They provide booties for you).  I didn't feel pressured at all to buy, but the selection was great and they wrote down the dresses I liked so I could price-shop online.  Unheard of.  Will go back.

White Chicago was the first place I went to look for dresses. From start to finish, the whole experience was great. The all-white boutique is beautiful and has very cute touches - a runway, plush robes in the dressing rooms, plenty of bridal magazines to look at, etc. I loved how they let you select which gowns you want to try on, since many places just bring you what they think you'll like. There was zero pressure to buy and like previous reviewers said, the associate Erin wrote down the dresses I liked and even sent me a nice follow-up e-mail the next day thanking me for coming.  Wonderful customer service.
I would definitely recommend White Chicago to other brides to be if they are looking for a designer dress at a great price. That being said, the gowns can still be fairly pricey. The next place I went had gowns that were new and $1,000 or so cheaper, which I probably will end up going with, since it fits into my budget better.  It just depends what you are looking for. Overall, a great experience and one I would recommend to others!

What an amazing bridal boutique!! Everything from the decor, the runway, the owner Stacy, the staff and the gorgeous designer dresses. I was so impressed with this place and with all the prior bridal stores I went to before coming to White Chicago I was really let down. This place was up beat, modern, and they made me feel so comfortable. I bought my wedding dress on Friday and I couldn't be happier. Another bride-to-be actually had the dress I wanted on hold and Stacy was nice enough to keep my update on her status and if she was going to buy it..I was so bummed but at the end of the day...she went with another dress and Stacy called me to tell me I could put the dress on hold for only $100! I held it till my mom came into town and she cried when she saw me in it and at that point I knew it was the "one!" Thank you Stacy for all your help. I will recommend all my girlfriends to White Chicago without a doubt.

This was a beautiful store, and I would recommend any bride-to-be to visit. The store is lovely, it smells beautiful, and the customer service is impeccable. I was assisted by Erin and she wrote down all of the styles that I loved so that I could shop around elsewhere since the sizing was off. I was also very pleased to find that the gowns I had liked best were in the $800 range. I was not expecting that!
BONUS: While you are picking out gowns in the gallery, they offer a complimentary ring cleaning!

This place is fabulous. It’s such a unique experience from the moment you walk in. you have to remove your shoes when you arrive, but they provide little white socks. The floor is white. The flowers are white. The couches are white... everything is white. The whole place smells like gardenias and they have a runway. So fun! The reason for all of this whiteness is that the dresses they have are the dresses you purchase, meaning you don't order them, so they try to keep things as clean as possible. I tried on several dresses and none of them were exactly it, but I would recommend that anyone go here, even if just for the experience alone.

I have to say although I decided not to purchase my wedding gown at White Chicago their customer service is Excellent. White Chicago sells previously worn wedding gowns, and they really do try to keep them in the best condition possible. Upon arrival you must take off your shoes and put on clean white booties provided by them. The floors are immaculate, staff very friendly and professional. The lady who helped my during my appointment let me select any dress to try on, helped me into it with white gloves, and even cleaned my engagement ring!! Its little touches like this that don't really cost anything to the business, and separate them from the rest!! Great Service.

White Chicago and Kyra were amazing, this was the best dress shopping experience and that is coming from someone who doesn't like the whole wedding scene. They were patient, personable and fun! I would highly recommend this boutique to anyone who wants to be relaxed and well taken care of while shopping for a dress that makes you look hot!!!!
