White Chicago is amazing.
Here's why: You'd think that their "once wed" (used) and sample dresses would come in sizes two and four only. I was skeptical when I came here for that reason. I never have luck with stores like this because I'm a size eight. But holy heck, they had two whole rows of size eight gowns here. And not only that, the prices were actually discounted (most a third off of the original price), not just a measly 10 percent off. And they had a myriad of designers including Alvina Valenta, Amsale, Pronovias, Vera Wang and more.
I know I say this at almost every gown shop I go to, but I actually think I found my dress here. I'm so sure, in fact, I put down a nonrefundable $100 "hold" fee on it, and I'm going back on Tuesday to try it on one last time.
This dress was one I was going to try on at House of Brides after falling in love with it (and the price) online, but I found it here for $400 less, and only because it was used. It was in perfect condition. I almost shit my pants at my amazing luck.
The store is just awesome. Yes, it's all white, so they make you remove your shoes, but they provide little socks to wear. The guest lounge is filled with any wedding magazine you could possibly want. They give you water upon entering. They let you pick your dresses from the stock room. They encourage picture taking. They give you robes to wear. And the sales associates were so friendly, and not at all snooty (every single one there always had a smile on their face). Oh, and they offer a free ring cleaning service for anyone ... not just the bride. That's service!
Great experience all around. I'm so happy I took a chance on this place. I would suggest that if any bride has a dress they think they want, come here first to see if they have it or something like it. You never know. It worked for me!

I can not thank White Chicago enough for making the best purchase of my life one of the best experiences of my life.  I spent a fortune on a Monique Lhuillier dress (in Atlanta) and needed to cut down on costs with the veil, but I was not going to sacrifice the exact veil I wanted. Their customer service is phenomenal. Kyra helped me from start to finish over the PHONE and by EMAIL!!! Here I am in Augusta, GA (of all places), purchasing my veil by phone and with pictures over email. Their patience and genuine caring nature could not have made me more confident in my purchase. My veil arrived today, and I opened the box about 10 minutes ago thrilled with my purchase. The veil was in PERFECT condition, exactly how the associates described. I tried on a veil identical to it in Atlanta for $1000...for less than HALF the cost I got the exact same thing, with MUCH better customer service. Truly wonderful hospitable consultants in Chicago. I hope one day to visit and thank them in person.
Thank you for your outstanding customer service and for truly caring about each bride (even when you have never met them :)
Many thanks and sincere gratitude.

this place is great...I worked with Stacy who was really nice....I liked how you got to actually look through all the dresses here...instead of having them brought to you.....you can get great deals but if you're on a budget it's not the best place since a lot of the dresses need to be cleaned and altered....but if you're set on wearing a designer dress and not paying the price I’d check out white chicago.

This place was awesome! I couldn’t believe the selection they had and what great condition the dresses were in. I was a little worried, being tall, that a lot of the dresses would be altered for shorter brides. But about 80% of the dresses were samples that had never been altered or worn!
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a designer wedding dress. Go find what you want elsewhere and then swing by here and see if they've got the same thing for 50% off! My dress wasn’t here but I tried on some alternates from the same designer that were beautiful too.  If I didn’t have an offer for the sample from elsewhere, I would definitely consider them.
I also loved the way they let you pick out what you try on (as opposed to places where the salesperson guesses what you'll like).

In planning a wedding I have gotten very tired of bridal industry attitude. What I really appreciated about White Chicago is that service is efficient, pleasant and calm in a way that most bridal stores (i.e. House of Brides) are not. I was pleased with the diverse ($ and style) selection, and while I ultimately decided to go with a new Amy Kuschel gown that White Chicago did not have at the time, there were three beautiful gowns I would consider getting for reasonable prices for my future weddings. Just kidding. Highly recommended.

My experience with White Chicago was nothing but wonderful. Stacey was my consultant for the day and made me feel like I was the only bride in the world. In fact, I only shared the store with one other girl. Stacy let me pull my own dresses to try (which I prefer) and then helped me into each one.
I found my dress there, for $1500 off the original price. For all those who complain that it's still expensive - that's what you pay when you want quality. Go to David's Bridal if you want a deal.
I would recommend White Chicago to anyone who is looking for a designer dress!
UPDATE: I thought I'd update on my experience, now that I'm married. I used White Chicago's alterations service and the alterations lady is sweet, professional and very talented. She made the dress look like new and fit like a glove. I got tons of compliments on my dress on my wedding day. The ladies at White Chicago are professional, friendly, and enthusiastic about their work. And the best part about visiting is seeing other excited brides!

I love White Chicago! It's an upscale boutique that feels relaxed and warm. Stacy and Ursula (owners) are really nice and down-to-earth. The gowns they stock are stunning and they have a wide variety of sizes. Their seamstress is professional and skilled. They let you try on the dresses and take photos to see what works on you.

You must come here if you're looking for a deal on a designer gown.  The store is extremely clean and sleek and the service is wonderful.  The dresses are also in very good condition for being used/sample.  I didn't find my perfect dress here, but you just might.

This Bridal shop is very unique, not only because of the interiors but because of their approach to selling. They help you find nice designer gowns at discount prices. I would definitely check them out to see if you are lucky and can buy a new sample for the less.

I had been to White Chicago for a bridal event a few months ago so I had already seen the space. Everything is white, spotless and clean.  The owner, Ursula, is so sweet.  I knew that once I got engaged, I would be back to make an appointment.
The dresses-- all designer-- are kept in mint condition.  On the day of the appointment, I was assisted by Lucy.  The dresses were fantastic.  I just wish that they had more of a selection in my size!  Since I'm petite, most of the dresses were way too big for me.  Even though I didn't find the perfect dress, I would recommend this salon to all brides coveting a designer dress.
